The PianoRemote app drains my device's battery even when running in the background — what should I do?

The PianoRemote app is designed to continue running in background mode so that its Metronome and Music Playback functions work even when the app is not shown on screen. As a result, it may continue to use device resources and battery when running in the background.
To prevent battery drain, manually close the PianoRemote app when you have finished using it. On iOS, swipe up from the app switcher. On Android, use the recent apps view to close the app.
