How do I check which software version is running on my Kawai CA99, CA79, CA901, CA701, NV10S, or NV5S?
Tap the menu icon, navigate to System > Information > CHECK to view the current firmware version.
To check the firmware version on a Kawai digital or hybrid piano with a touchscreen display (such as the CA99/CA79, CA901/CA701, or NV10S/NV5S), tap the hamburger menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top-right corner to open the main menu.
From the menu, tap System, then scroll to Information and tap CHECK. The Version/License screen will display the current firmware version. Tap the X button to return to the previous menu.
Recording this version number is useful when contacting Kawai support or when checking the support website to see if an update is available.
