Can I use alcohol to disinfect my Kawai piano?
Do not apply alcohol directly to the piano. Instead, wash and disinfect your hands before playing and ensure fingers are fully dry.
Please refrain from using alcohol, benzine, thinner, chlorine bleach, or similar substances on the keyboard or exterior of your piano. These chemicals can cause discoloration or deterioration of painted surfaces, metal hardware such as hinges, and key materials.
Regarding hygiene, Kawai recommends washing your hands and disinfecting your fingers with alcohol before and after playing the piano. Ensure that your fingers are completely dry before you start to play.
