What happens to defective units that are returned to Kawai?
Kawai will repair or replace defective units at its option. Units may not be returned for credit. Include a description of the issue and the RA number must be on the carton.
KAWAI will, at its option, replace an instrument only if repair is not possible. Defective units may not be returned for credit but will be repaired.
When returning a defective electronic unit, include a short note describing the issue and what was done to attempt correction prior to requesting the RA. The RA number and serial number must be prominently displayed on the outside of the carton(s), or noted on all documentation for large items such as a piano.
