There are scratches on the display of my brand new Kawai piano — what should I do?
Check for protective film first. If the scratches are on the actual display, document them and contact your dealer.
If your new piano has display scratches, first check whether they are on the actual display screen or on protective film applied at the factory. Remove any protective film if present — what appeared to be scratches may disappear.
If scratches are confirmed on the actual display, document the issue with photographs immediately. Contact your authorised Kawai dealer and reference your warranty. Minor display scratches typically do not affect functionality, but should be addressed through your dealer if the piano is brand new.
