Is it possible to add the ATX or AURES system to my existing Kawai piano?
ATX retrofit for upright pianos is available in Japan only. AURES and grand piano systems must be factory-installed.
Upright pianos: Kawai Japan does offer the option to retrofit the ATX system to an existing Kawai upright piano, however this service is only available to domestic customers in Japan. Kawai Japan does not offer the retrofit ATX option to customers living outside of Japan. It is not possible to retrofit the AURES system to an existing upright piano — the AURES system must be installed at the factory when the instrument is produced.
Grand pianos: Kawai Japan does not offer the option to retrofit the ATX or AURES systems to an existing Kawai grand piano. These systems must be installed at the factory when the instrument is produced.
