Can I use high-impedance headphones with my Kawai digital piano?
High-impedance headphones (250Ω+) will work but may produce lower volume. For best results, use headphones with 16–100Ω impedance.
Most Kawai digital pianos' headphone outputs are optimised for standard impedance headphones in the range of 16–32 ohms. High-impedance headphones (250 ohms or higher) will work but may produce lower volume levels than standard headphones at the same volume setting.
If using high-impedance headphones, increase the piano's volume accordingly. For the best listening experience and volume levels, Kawai recommends headphones with an impedance between 16 and 100 ohms.
